Evan Israelsky’s passion for collecting began in childhood. This early enthusiasm laid the foundation for his deep knowledge of sports cards, which spans decades and multiple sports. His dedication paid off: by the time he reached his late teens, he had developed a strong reputation within the community and even began selling some of his cards online. 

In April 2011, Evan turned his lifelong hobby into a professional venture by opening Evan’s Sports Cards and Collectibles at 2999 E. Evesham Rd., Voorhees Township, NJ. What began as a modest storefront quickly grew in popularity. Local publications like Beckett magazine and Facebook features named it a “Card Shop of the Week,” noting Evan’s ability to stock both mainstream releases and niche memorabilia.  The shop carries a broad inventory of products—from baseball, basketball, hockey, and football cards to MMA, soccer, and golf collections—covering most offerings from major manufacturers like Topps, Upper Deck, and Panini. 

Over the years, the shop has become a community cornerstone, hosting new-release drop days and maintaining a robust online presence with over 3,000 Facebook followers. Regular restocks and active engagement such as announcing closures, posting pulled hits and booster pack availability, keep collectors returning week after week.  Evan’s Sports Cards & Collectibles remains a testament to one man’s lifelong passion transformed into a thriving local business, bringing fellow collectors together in Voorhees and beyond.
